About Trinity

Trinity Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Reformed church in good standing with the SBC, and part of the Austin Baptist Association.

Trinity Baptist Church began in October of 1983. Services were held in an old house at 301 Olive Street. Land (over 6 acres) was purchased in 1984. An old house on the property was demolished and the present structure was built by the members on the new land. The steeple has a spotlight as a lighthouse to the community. There have been plenty of ups and downs for Trinity, but it continues to remain as a testimony to God’s purpose.

Trinity Baptist Church serves in association with:

  • Southern Baptist Convention
  • Austin Baptist Association
  • Smithville Ministerial Alliance
  • Founders Ministries
